Join us for a presentation from former CROSH student member Emily Jago on some of the recent field work she did Newfoundland. Emily is currently the Research Manager of the Food Policy Lab at Dalhousie University.

 

Title: Healthy Stores Newfoundland: A deep dive into planning, pivoting, and how hurricanes affect fieldwork

Description: The Food Policy Lab at Dalhousie University conducted a 4-week fieldwork trip to Newfoundland in September/October 2022. This trip was originally funded and planned for 2020, however with the pandemic it was delayed. Along with this came significant changes to the research and fieldwork plans and community partners, while maintaining academic rigor and fulfilling terms of the grant and meeting out research objectives and outcomes.
