Dr. Dominique Gagnon is the Director at the Helsinki Clinic of Sports and Exercise Medicine, as well as visiting scholar at the University of Helsinki and the University of Jyväskylä. His research aims at elucidating the influences of thermal stress on oxygen transports mechanisms and skeletal muscle metabolism during exercise. He is also the Co-Founder of the Environmental Exercise Physiology Program (EP2), a national-level program to support athletes, military and occupational personal, and the general public for their education in relation to environmental influences on performance, health and safety.
