Graduate Student Project. We are investigating predictors of a return to work in the mining industry. The main objective of this project is to validate a disability case management tool using a sample of recent lost-time claims in partnership with a local mining company. It is our hope that this assessment will not only estimate the likelihood of a return to work, but guide treatment, track progress and create a common language among all those involved in the return to work process.
