CROSH Webinar: Physiological and Nutritional Demands of Wildland Firefighting

Leigha Benford, Science Information Officer with CROSH, sat down with Ayden Robertson to discuss his Masters in Human Kinetics research conducted with wildland firefighters in Northern Ontario. His research sought to document the physiological demands of wildland firefighting and evaluate nutrition quality through an analysis of food consumption while on deployment. Ayden’s research was conduction in partnership with the Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry with support from the Ministry of Labour.
