Internships
CROSH works to:
- provide OHS training to the students who will be our future OHS professionals.
- Help workplaces access skilled people and equipment to solve their OHS issues.
We therefore fund student interns to partner with workplaces and help them with an OHS problem.
Internship Placement
Since 2018, CROSH has placed over 70 students in paid, occupational health and safety internships.
Our students are in a variety of academic programs, including: School of Kinesiology and Health Science Programs, Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Biology, Psychology, Social Work, Indigenous Social Work, Sociology, Nursing, Indigenous Relations, Biology, Science Communication, Interdisciplinary Health, Rural and Northern Health, and more.
