Thesis Title: Development of an Instrumented Insole to Measure Foot-Transmitted Vibration”

Dawson’s research interests are on vibration transmissions through to the body. His research involves developing an instrumented insole to measure Foot-Transmitted Vibration. Applying an instrumented insole can allow for measurements of actual vibration exposure at the foot as well as transmissibility values for different types of foot wear to be evaluated.
