Situational awareness has its roots in the aerospace industry dating back nearly forty years, and will continue to be relevant as more complex technology is introduced to the workplace.The role that human factors has to play in this new era involves ensuring that the operator has the correct information at the critical point in time at which it is required. This webinar will introduce the concepts of situational awareness and provide some context for it’s evaluation in a controlled setting, as well as preliminary results from CROSH investigations.
